Fengshi Metal Technology is currently seeking a dedicated Assistant Quality Engineer to join our growing team in Nibong Tebal, Penang. In this role, you will be the backbone of our quality assurance department, ensuring that every product leaving our facility meets the highest international standards of precision and reliability.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor production processes, identify potential deviations, and implement corrective actions. Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and evaluate production line processes to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Perform regular inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to identify defects.
- Assist the Quality Engineer in documenting non-conformance reports and investigating root causes.
- Participate in internal audits and support the maintenance of ISO quality management systems.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to implement process improvements and minimize waste.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM) to verify product specifications.
- Ensure all quality documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and archived according to company policy.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in quality control or manufacturing environments (fresh graduates with strong internships are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance manufacturing team.
