We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Assistant Radar Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Tengah, West Region. In this critical frontline role, you will be entrusted with ensuring the operational readiness, reliability, and availability of complex radar systems that serve as a backbone for national security, defence, and air traffic management in Singapore.

The Role
This is an exciting, hands-on technical role perfect for an engineer who thrives on diagnosing and solving complex technical problems. You will provide both corrective and preventive maintenance on state-of-the-art radar systems. The work is highly varied, operating in a 24/7 rotational shift environment, providing you with deep exposure to system architecture, fault-finding at the module level, and system integration. You will work closely with a team of highly skilled engineers and technicians, reporting on system health and driving continuous improvements in maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled corrective and preventive maintenance on radar systems and sub-systems.
• Provide comprehensive 24/7 rotational maintenance support to ensure high system availability and minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve intricate technical faults through systematic troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and component-level repair.
• Assist in the installation, commissioning, integration, and testing of new radar equipment, upgrades, and modifications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed technical documentation, including service logs, inspection reports, inventory records, and compliance checklists.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, programme offices, and external vendors to source components and facilitate technical solutions.
• Enforce strict compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) protocols, security regulations, and organisational standard operating procedures.

What We Are Looking For:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience in radar, RF, or communication systems maintenance is highly advantageous, but fresh graduates with strong fundamentals are welcome to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for technical excellence.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a high-performing, multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to work rotating 24/7 shifts as required by operational needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers is a strong plus.
• Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 driving license is advantageous for site mobility.
