We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assistant Storekeeper to join our operations team in Miri, Sarawak. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day logistics and inventory management processes. Your primary duties will involve handling the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring all stock is accurately recorded and properly stored to facilitate smooth operations. You will play a key part in coordinating deliveries, managing stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, and conducting regular stock audits to ensure data integrity. Tanggung Jawab
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery notes to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using manual or digital systems (ERP/Excel).
- Organize and store stock in the warehouse to ensure easy access, proper rotation, and safety.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies immediately.
- Coordinate with suppliers and delivery personnel to ensure timely unloading and storage of goods.
- Ensure the warehouse area is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Assist in the preparation of stock reports and assist in logistics planning as needed.
Kualifikasi
- SPM/STPM or Diploma in Logistics, Warehousing, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in storekeeping or warehouse operations.
- Proficient in basic computer operations and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and a proactive work attitude.
