- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing a creative, thematic curriculum that supports the holistic development of infants and toddlers.
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children in accordance with centre policies and ECDA regulations.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction.
- Support children's English language and literacy development through interactive storytelling, songs, rhymes, and daily conversations.
- Observe, assess, and document children's learning progress and developmental milestones, providing regular feedback to parents.
- Perform routine caregiving duties, including feeding, diapering, hygiene, and nap time supervision, with patience and warmth.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting classroom environment and learning materials.
- Collaborate with colleagues and centre management to maintain high standards of care and a positive team culture.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Teaching) or equivalent certification accredited by ECDA.
- Possession of relevant infant care certifications such as HCIC, CIC, or ACEY is highly preferred.
- At least 1 year of working experience in a licensed infant care or preschool setting is an advantage.
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken) to facilitate effective teaching and communication.
- Genuine passion and love for working with young children (0-18 months).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and observation skills.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and build strong relationships with parents and caregivers.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and maintaining a positive learning attitude.
