As an Assistant Teacher (English), you will play a vital role in providing a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for infants aged 2 to 18 months. Key responsibilities include assisting the Lead Teacher in implementing the AIE curriculum, ensuring the well-being and safety of all infants, maintaining classroom routines, and building strong partnerships with parents. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for infants.
- Provide responsive caregiving including feeding, diapering, and soothing to ensure each child's physical and emotional needs are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that promotes exploration and learning.
- Observe and document children's developmental milestones and share progress with parents and team members.
- Communicate warmly and professionally with parents regarding daily activities and their child's well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and nurturing team culture.
- Adhere to all centre policies, licensing regulations, and health and safety standards.
Kualifikasi
- WSQ Certificate in Infant Care or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with infants in a childcare, preschool, or similar setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Patient, nurturing, and passionate about early childhood development.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of infant care.
