Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is seeking a strategic and experienced Assistant Vice President, Technology Risk to lead the operationalization of our Technology Risk management framework. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the governance framework, driving risk identification, monitoring, and reporting processes, and ensuring that our policies and procedures are robust and effective.
You will act as a guardian of our technology landscape, working closely with various business units to mitigate technology-related risks and ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will foster a culture of risk awareness, develop comprehensive risk assessments, and provide high-quality reporting to senior management. Tanggung Jawab
- Operationalize the Technology Risk management framework, including governance, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the end-to-end risk identification, monitoring, and reporting lifecycle.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and gap analyses to ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain technology risk documentation and compliance tracking.
- Collaborate with business units to implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead internal audits and coordinate with external auditors as required.
- Drive risk awareness training and workshops for employees.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Technology Risk, Information Security, or Compliance within the banking/financial services sector.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks (e.g., Basel, COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in managing risk identification, monitoring, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
