Join the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and play a pivotal role in shaping the nation's financial landscape. We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our Insurance Department as an Associate or Assistant Director. In this integral role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regulatory frameworks that ensure the safety and soundness of the insurance industry while fostering innovation and consumer protection. Your expertise will directly contribute to the stability of Singapore's economy and the welfare of its citizens.

Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, review, and implement regulatory policies and guidelines for the insurance sector in accordance with international standards.
- Conduct in-depth supervisory reviews, on-site inspections, and risk assessments of insurance institutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor emerging trends, risks, and developments in the insurance market to proactively address potential vulnerabilities.
- Advise senior management and the Board on regulatory issues, market developments, and strategic policy recommendations.
- Engage with industry practitioners, insurers, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance and risk awareness.
- Represent Singapore in international forums and liaise with global regulators to harmonize regulatory practices.
- Oversee the resolution of enforcement actions and monitor the remediation of identified issues within the industry.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field; Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA, FRM) is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, financial regulation, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, actuarial principles, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Solvency II, IFRS 17).
- Proven track record of policy development, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
