Mizuho Bank Singapore Branch boasts an established local presence with over 50 years of history, serving as the vital regional hub for the bank's Asia-Pacific operations. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Associate, Expense and Accounting Operations to join our dynamic finance team on a 1-year contract basis. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end expense processing workflow, including verifying, coding, and approving expense reports and travel claims.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of credit card statements, bank accounts, and intercompany accounts.
- Ensure strict compliance with Mizuho Bank's internal policies, accounting standards, and local regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements and accounting packs.
- Conduct variance analysis on expense reports to identify trends and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with regional business units to resolve accounting discrepancies and provide operational support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for audit purposes and internal reviews.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting, expense management, or financial operations.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, GAAP, and local tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
