We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate III - Product Engineering to join our dynamic team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of product development, bridging the gap between innovative concepts and market-ready solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, quality assurance, and manufacturing, to ensure that our product standards meet rigorous performance and safety requirements.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in optimizing engineering workflows, troubleshooting technical challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. We are looking for an analytical thinker who is passionate about hardware/product engineering and is eager to grow within an established industry environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the technical execution of product development projects from prototype to mass production.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis for technical failures and implement robust corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve design and manufacturing process bottlenecks.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, engineering change orders (ECOs), and product specifications.
- Perform product validation and verification testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and support technical training initiatives within the team.
- Optimize product cost-efficiency through design improvements and materials evaluation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product engineering, preferably in an electronics or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar tools).
- Deep understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical mindset with a track record of problem-solving in complex systems.
