Are you a passionate musician with a heart for teaching? We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Associate Piano Educator to join our Junior Division in the Bukit Timah area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an entry-level educator to build their teaching portfolio in a supportive environment dedicated to musical excellence.
As an Associate Educator, you will be instrumental in fostering a love for music in our younger students. We believe that early childhood music education is the foundation for a lifelong appreciation of the arts. You will be responsible for guiding students through their initial musical journey, focusing on technique, theory, and artistic expression. If you possess a patient demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong background in piano performance, we would love to meet you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct engaging piano lessons tailored to the specific learning needs of young students.
- Prepare students for ABRSM or equivalent graded examinations as required.
- Provide regular progress updates and constructive feedback to parents.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
- Organize and participate in student recitals and school showcases.
- Track student attendance and progress using our internal administrative system.
- Incorporate fun and interactive teaching methods to keep young students motivated.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Music, Music Education, or equivalent (candidates currently completing their studies may apply).
- At least ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Certification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly preferred.
- Strong command of English; ability to communicate complex concepts simply.
- Passionate about early childhood development and musical pedagogy.
- Reliable, punctual, and highly organized with a professional attitude.
- Ability to commit to a consistent teaching schedule (including weekends).
