Accion Labs is seeking a talented Automation Development Engineer to join our high-performing team in Penang. In this role, you will be at the forefront of driving operational efficiency, developing cutting-edge automation solutions, and ensuring seamless integration within complex semiconductor manufacturing environments.
We are looking for a problem-solver with approximately 5 years of experience who thrives in fast-paced technical settings. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain advanced automation systems that optimize production throughput and precision. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and implement end-to-end automation solutions for semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and improve production line efficiency.
- Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to ensure high machine availability.
- Lead root-cause analysis for automation-related technical issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including logic flowcharts, manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize cycle times and output quality.
- Integrate IoT sensors and data collection frameworks to enhance machine connectivity and predictive maintenance capabilities.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering, specifically within a semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Omron, Keyence) and industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet).
- Strong knowledge of robotics, motion control systems, and machine vision integration.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and software for monitoring manufacturing KPIs.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight project deadlines.
- Experience in cleanroom protocols and safety standards is highly preferred.
