Sea Limited is a leading global consumer internet company. SPX Express, the logistics arm of Shopee, is the backbone of e-commerce delivery across Indonesia. We are looking for a seasoned Automation Machinery Project Manager to oversee the flawless execution of our critical network infrastructure projects. This role is instrumental in scaling our automation capabilities to meet the surging demand for fast, reliable last-mile logistics in Southeast Asia's largest digital economy.
In this high-impact role, you will take full ownership of project lifecycles for automated sorting systems, conveyor networks, and material handling equipment. You will coordinate internal resources, third-party vendors, and site teams to ensure every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to world-class safety and quality standards. From initial feasibility studies and system design to installation, testing, and handover, you will be the driving force behind each initiative.
As the key liaison between Operations, Engineering, Finance, and external partners, your ability to navigate complex technical and logistical challenges will be paramount. You will manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, oversee budget allocations, and proactively mitigate risks. Your leadership will directly impact the operational efficiency and capacity of SPX Express's sorting centers across the archipelago.

Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams including Operations, IT, Warehouse, and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Define realistic project scopes, goals, and deliverables, aligning with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets; track progress and report performance to senior management.
- Manage the end-to-end procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of automation machinery across multiple hubs.
- Identify project risks and dependencies, implementing robust mitigation strategies to minimize impact on timelines and costs.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all project sites.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to secure high-quality results and cost efficiencies.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and standardizing project management best practices.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of proven project management experience in automation, material handling, logistics, or industrial engineering.
- Strong technical aptitude with understanding of PLCs, SCADA, robotics, conveyors, and automated storage systems.
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects with budgets exceeding several million USD/IDR.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Java and Sumatera for site visits and project oversight.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; strong communication and presentation skills.
