- Perform thorough diagnostic tests to accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid level checks, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
- Repair or replace defective parts, such as engines, transmissions, alternators, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Test vehicles post-repair to ensure all issues have been fully resolved and the vehicle is safe for road use.
- Provide accurate and transparent time and cost estimates for necessary repairs to the service team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the workshop, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed, parts used, and labor hours spent on each vehicle.
Kualifikasi
- Proven work experience as an Auto Mechanic, Automotive Technician, or in a similar mechanical role.
- Strong technical knowledge of modern vehicle diagnostic tools, computerized engine systems, and mechanical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record, capable of test-driving vehicles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, physical stamina, and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative workshop team.
- Diploma, certification, or vocational training in Automotive Technology or a related field is highly preferred.
