Recengine Auto Sdn Bhd, a trusted and growing automotive service center located in Kapar, Selangor, is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician / Mekanik Kereta to join our dedicated team. As a full-time service technician, you will enjoy a competitive salary ranging from RM 2,000 to RM 2,800 per month, along with opportunities for professional development and advancement.
In this role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of vehicles, from standard passenger cars to light commercial vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include performing routine preventive maintenance, utilizing advanced computerized diagnostic equipment to pinpoint issues, carrying out complex repairs (e.g., engine overhaul, transmission replacement, brake system repair), and ensuring every vehicle meets stringent safety and performance standards before returning to the customer. You will also maintain detailed records, manage workshop cleanliness, and provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and offering vehicle care advice.
We are looking for a candidate who holds a formal qualification in automotive technology (certificate or diploma) and has at least 2 years of hands-on experience in a busy workshop environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude, excellent problem-solving abilities, a commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A valid driving license and your own set of basic tools are preferred.

Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using computer diagnostic systems and manual techniques
- Repair or replace faulty components such as brakes, suspension, engines, transmissions, and exhaust systems
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and legal requirements
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each vehicle
- Communicate with customers to explain diagnoses, recommended repairs, and estimated costs
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to optimize workflow and productivity
- Keep the workshop clean, organized, and stocked with necessary parts and tools
Kualifikasi
- Certificate or Diploma in Automotive Technology or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues
- Proficiency in using modern diagnostic equipment and tools
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driving license and clean driving record
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
