We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic AV Engineer to ensure our audiovisual technology consistently exceeds the expectations of our discerning guests.
As an AV Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of all audio, video, and lighting equipment across the hotel’s event spaces, restaurants, and public areas. From high-profile corporate conferences to exclusive social galas, you will deliver flawless technical execution that enhances every guest experience.
Your day-to-day tasks will include setting up sound systems, video conferencing gear, projectors, and screens; troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly; conducting preventive maintenance; and managing inventory of AV supplies. You will also stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend upgrades to keep our facilities at the cutting edge.
The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, along with at least 2-3 years of hands-on AV experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end events venue. Proficiency with Crestron, Extron, QSC, and other industry-standard systems is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays are essential.

Tanggung Jawab
- Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment including sound systems, video displays, projectors, lighting, and video conferencing tools.
- Operate AV technology during events, ensuring all components function flawlessly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with event planning teams to understand requirements and set up accordingly.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all AV assets.
- Keep accurate inventory of AV equipment and supplies, and coordinate repairs/replacements.
- Stay updated with latest AV trends and recommend system improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with hotel standards.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an AV Technician or Engineer, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end venue.
- Proficiency with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron) and audio mixing consoles.
- Strong knowledge of video conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, etc.) and signal flow.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CTS, Crestron certification) are a plus.
