Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is seeking an experienced and dynamic AVP, Corporate Credit Trainer to join our regional professional development team in KL Eco City, Kuala Lumpur. In this critical role, you will act as a key Program Facilitator, driving the enhancement of corporate credit knowledge, standard banking procedures, and complex financial products across our commercial and corporate banking teams.
As an Assistant Vice President, you will leverage your deep expertise in corporate banking, risk assessment, and financial analysis to design, develop, and deliver high-impact training curricula. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, risk management heads, and business leaders to align educational initiatives with the bank’s strategic growth objectives and risk appetite. Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive corporate credit training programs, covering cash flow analysis, debt structuring, and risk assessment.
- Facilitate regular learning sessions and workshops on internal banking procedures, credit policies, and global regulatory compliance guidelines.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders and risk management departments to conduct thorough training needs analyses (TNA).
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through structured assessments, feedback loops, and performance metrics, continuously refining course content.
- Stay abreast of macroeconomic trends, evolving credit markets, and regulatory changes to ensure curriculum relevance.
- Provide ongoing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to junior analysts and relationship managers during their onboarding and professional development journeys.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or a highly quantitative discipline. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, or Chartered Banker) are highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 6–8 years of professional experience in corporate credit analysis, risk management, or credit relationship management within a commercial bank.
- Proven track record as a facilitator, trainer, or mentor with a passion for driving talent development in financial services.
- In-depth understanding of corporate lending products, financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit mitigation tools.
- Strong presentation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the capability to influence and build credibility with senior management.
