Rising Tide Digital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer with deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot to join our innovative team in Taguig City. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining the high-performance backend services and APIs that power our digital products.
In this role, you will work on challenging projects, modernizing legacy systems, and building greenfield applications using cutting-edge technologies. Our current tech stack includes Java 17+, Spring Boot 3.x, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes, deployed on AWS. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Frontend Developers, Product Managers, and DevOps engineers, in a fast-paced, agile environment. We value clean code, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous improvement.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and deploy robust RESTful APIs and scalable backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to software engineering best practices and design patterns.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements, architecture, and implementation strategies.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability and reliability of services.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high code quality across the team.
- Integrate with third-party services, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud-native solutions (AWS/Azure).
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvement and automated testing frameworks.
- Document technical designs, APIs, and system processes for knowledge sharing and onboarding.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development, with a strong focus on the Spring Boot framework.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
- Experience using version control (Git), build tools (Maven/Gradle), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with agile/Scrum methodologies and modern CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
