Hong Leong Bank is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Backup Administrator to join our dynamic IT Infrastructure team in Selangor. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage, monitor, and maintain enterprise backup environments to ensure 99.9% data availability.
- Execute daily backup schedules, perform restoration testing, and troubleshoot failed jobs promptly.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to patch systems and remediate vulnerabilities in backup servers.
- Conduct capacity planning to optimize storage consumption and forecast future hardware requirements.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data recovery workflows.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical support and lifecycle management of backup hardware and software.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in enterprise backup administration (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup).
- Strong understanding of storage architectures (SAN, NAS, RAID) and cloud backup storage (Azure, AWS).
- Solid knowledge of server environments including Windows Server, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with shell scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate routine backup tasks.
- Familiarity with financial industry data security regulations and compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, BNM guidelines).
- Relevant certifications such as VCP, NetApp Certified Data Administrator, or cloud-specific storage certifications are highly advantageous.
