We are seeking a skilled Backup Operations Engineer - Veeam to join our dynamic IT team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee our enterprise backup infrastructure, ensuring the integrity, availability, and recoverability of critical business data. You will be the guardian of our data protection strategy, leveraging Veeam Backup & Replication to manage complex environments across Windows, Linux, VMware, and Azure IaaS.

Tanggung Jawab
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Veeam backup and replication strategies for Windows, Linux, VMware, and Azure environments.
- Monitor backup job health, performance metrics, and storage capacity to ensure 99.9% backup success rates.
- Execute regular disaster recovery (DR) drills and restore procedures to validate data integrity and RTO/RPO compliance.
- Automate routine backup tasks and notifications using scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage and optimize storage infrastructure used for backup repositories (NAS, SAN, Cloud).
- Collaborate with system administrators to troubleshoot backup failures and implement corrective actions.
- Document backup policies, procedures, and runbooks for the IT team.
Kualifikasi
- Certified Veeam Backup & Replication Professional (VCP-VBR) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Veeam B&R in enterprise environments.
- Strong proficiency in managing backup jobs for Windows Server, Linux distributions, VMware vSphere, and Azure IaaS.
- Deep understanding of storage technologies, networking protocols, and backup media.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred) for automation and reporting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure during critical incidents.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
