Tanggung Jawab

  • Prepare, bake, and assemble a wide variety of Japanese desserts including cakes, pastries, and specialty items according to standardized recipes.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely, ensuring longevity and cleanliness.
  • Manage stock levels of baking ingredients and communicate needs to the Head Chef for timely replenishment.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with local health codes.
  • Assist in menu development and seasonal product rotation, offering creative input and feedback on new dessert concepts.
  • Ensure all products meet visual and taste standards before leaving the kitchen, maintaining the 'viral' quality our brand is known for.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow, especially during peak hours and special events.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge of Japanese confectionery techniques.

Kualifikasi

  • At least 1 year of proven experience as a Baker, Kitchen Staff, or in food production, preferably in a high-volume dessert, cafe, or restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment; experience with Asian desserts is a significant advantage.
  • High attention to detail and a keen eye for presentation, crucial for maintaining the premium aesthetic of our Japanese desserts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills; must be willing to assist team members across different stations.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed for the store's operations.
  • A passion for Japanese culinary culture and eagerness to learn and innovate within the dessert space.
