We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Baker / Martabak Chef to lead our kitchen's baking operations. You will be responsible for producing high-quality bread, pastries, cakes, and both sweet and savory Martabak. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and bake a wide variety of products, including artisan breads, pastries, cakes, and traditional Indonesian Martabak (both sweet and savory).
- Manage the daily baking schedule to ensure a constant supply of fresh products for the café.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality control in the kitchen, complying with all health regulations.
- Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items in collaboration with the management team.
- Monitor inventory levels for baking ingredients and place orders with suppliers as needed.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff on baking techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a café, restaurant, or bakery.
- Specific experience in making Indonesian Martabak and local pastries is highly advantageous.
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and industry-standard equipment.
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required by the café schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in product presentation and recipe development.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
- Valid work permit for Indonesia or willingness to apply for one (support provided for qualified overseas candidates).
