As a key member of our baking team, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a wide variety of BreadTalk's signature products. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare, knead, shape, and bake a wide variety of breads, buns, pastries, and cakes according to BreadTalk’s standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, and proofers, ensuring safety and proper functionality.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and ingredients, ensuring timely replenishment while minimizing spoilage and waste.
- Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene, health, and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and orderly workstation at all times.
- Assist in the development and execution of new product launches and seasonal promotions to keep our menu exciting and fresh.
- Coordinate with the sales team to align baking schedules with customer demand and peak traffic hours.
- Train and mentor junior bakers and kitchen staff on proper baking techniques and safety protocols.
Kualifikasi
- At least 1 to 2 years of solid experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a high-volume commercial bakery, hotel, or restaurant.
- Comprehensive knowledge of baking principles, dough preparation, and pastry production.
- Ability to work early mornings, shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed in a retail environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on product quality and presentation.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy bags of flour and supplies (up to 25 kg).
- Willingness to be assigned in Ermita, Manila City.
- Applicants must possess a valid Food Safety or Basic Occupational Health & Safety certificate (advantageous but not required).
- A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for the food industry.
