Shape Haus, a celebrated architecture and design firm renowned for its mastery of Balinese aesthetics, is looking for a passionate and highly skilled Balinese Engineering Drafter to join our team in Klungkung, Bali. This is more than a drafting position; it is a leadership role where you will drive engineering projects, mentor junior staff, and become a vital part of our studio’s creative success.
In this role, you will translate bold architectural visions into precise technical realities. You will manage the full drafting workflow, from initial sketches and site surveys to final construction documents and permit submissions. Working closely with our architects and engineers, you will ensure every project balances structural integrity, regulatory compliance, and the unique cultural spirit of Balinese design. Your guidance will shape the next generation of drafters in our team.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the creation of detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering plans using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit.
- Transform conceptual architectural designs into accurate and construction-ready documentation for residential and commercial projects.
- Conduct thorough site surveys and inspections in Klungkung and surrounding areas to ensure design accuracy and structural feasibility.
- Mentor and supervise junior drafters, providing guidance and reviewing work to maintain high quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to resolve technical challenges and optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure all documentation strictly adheres to Indonesian building codes (IMB/PBG), local regulations, and company quality benchmarks.
- Manage drawing registers, version control, and project archives for seamless team access and compliance.
- Prepare material take-offs, assist with permit applications, and support the construction team during the build phase.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional drafting experience in the Indonesian architecture or construction industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD is required; advanced skills in SketchUp and Revit are highly advantageous.
- Deep understanding of Balinese architectural styles, local construction materials, and traditional building techniques.
- Extensive knowledge of Indonesian building regulations, zoning laws, and the project permitting process in Bali.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor junior team members, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English (written and spoken).
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
