Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks, teas, and seasonal beverages following established recipes.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment to ensure consistent quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and handling transactions via the POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, seating area, and service stations, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Describe menu items and flavor profiles to customers, offering recommendations based on their preferences.
- Monitor and restock inventory, including milk, coffee beans, and pastry items, reporting shortages to management.
- Assist with light food preparation and ensuring all display cases are aesthetically pleasing and well-stocked.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours and special events.
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a fast-paced retail/hospitality environment is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso extraction, and milk texturing.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and early morning shifts.
- A proactive attitude toward learning new skills and improving coffee craft.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Must be punctual, reliable, and possess a strong sense of professional grooming.
