- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, countertops, and service areas
- Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness
- Handle cash transactions and operate point-of-sale systems accurately
- Monitor inventory levels and report supplies that need replenishment
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance coffee knowledge and service skills
Kualifikasi
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and coffee varieties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional culinary or hospitality training is a plus
