Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and non-coffee beverages following Karmafree's recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment, ensuring cleanliness and optimal performance.
- Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions, managing the point-of-sale system efficiently.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, making recommendations, and ensuring an excellent experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the coffee bar, seating area, and back-of-house areas.
- Monitor and restock inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other cafe supplies.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation and equipment shutdown.
- Uphold health and safety standards in all food and beverage preparation areas.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience as a Barista, preferably in a high-volume cafe or similar hospitality setting.
- In-depth knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, latte art, and various brewing methods.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive, team-player attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Passion for coffee, hospitality, and an appreciation for surf/beach culture is a significant advantage.
