As a Barista at Mall of Medini, you will be the face of the store, crafting high-quality beverages while ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality and customer service within one of the region's leading coffee chains.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages and food items according to Starbucks recipes and standards.
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment at all times.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments with speed and accuracy.
- Upsell products and engage with customers to enhance their visit.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, or food & beverage.
- Passion for coffee and the ability to learn brewing techniques quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 25kg.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
