Are you a coffee enthusiast with a passion for quality extraction and customer experience? Orchid Florist & Decoration is currently seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in Surabaya. We combine the art of floral decoration with a premium coffee experience, and we need a dedicated professional who understands the science behind the perfect cup.
In this role, you will be the face of our coffee service, responsible for maintaining high standards of espresso preparation and ensuring every guest enjoys a consistently excellent beverage. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, deep knowledge of coffee calibration, and a commitment to hygiene and machine maintenance.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages consistently.
- Perform daily manual calibration of coffee beans, monitoring extraction time, yield, and dose.
- Maintain and clean commercial espresso machines and coffee grinders to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining coffee profiles and recommendations to guests.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, and other beverage supplies.
- Ensure the coffee station area remains clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
- Assist in developing seasonal beverage offerings or signature coffee drinks.
Kualifikasi
- Proven experience operating and maintaining commercial or semi-automatic espresso machines.
- Deep understanding of espresso extraction variables (dose, yield, time, grind size).
- Ability to perform manual calibration with precision and consistency.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to commit to a contract-based employment schedule.
- Passion for specialty coffee and creative beverage presentation.
