As a Bell Captain, you will be the face of our brand, ensuring that every guest receives a warm welcome and seamless assistance from arrival to departure. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the bell desk operations, manage luggage logistics, and lead a team of dedicated bell attendants. You will work closely with the Front Office and Concierge teams to anticipate guest needs, handle VIP arrivals, and maintain the highest standards of luxury service that Accor is renowned for.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the bell desk team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Provide a warm, professional welcome to all guests upon arrival and ensure prompt assistance with their luggage.
  • Train, mentor, and schedule bell staff to maintain exceptional service standards.
  • Manage the secure storage and safekeeping of guest luggage and personal belongings.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office and Housekeeping departments to ensure rooms are ready for early arrivals and VIP guests.
  • Handle guest inquiries, provide accurate local information about Surabaya, and resolve any service issues with empathy and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lobby and bell desk area at all times.

Kualifikasi

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury or 4/5-star hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in English is required, both written and spoken.
  • Exceptional physical stamina and the ability to safely lift and transport heavy luggage.
  • Good knowledge of Surabaya's geography, attractions, and local culture.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering outstanding guest service.
