QBE Insurance is a leading international insurer and reinsurer, and we are looking for a talented BI Reporting Analyst (Power BI) to join our dynamic team in Metro Manila. This role is crucial in providing data-driven insights that drive strategic decision-making across the business.
As a BI Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of comprehensive reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI. You will leverage your analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to support business objectives. Your work will directly impact operational efficiency, risk management, and growth strategies.
Key aspects of the role include collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensuring data integrity and accuracy, and continuously improving reporting processes. You will work closely with the data engineering team to optimize data sources and implement best practices in data visualization and analytics.
To succeed in this role, you will need a strong background in data analysis, proficiency in Power BI (including DAX and Power Query), and solid SQL skills. - Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Optimize data models and queries for performance and scalability.
- Create and maintain documentation for reports, data sources, and processes.
- Provide training and support to business users on Power BI tools and reports.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience as a BI Analyst or similar role with strong focus on Power BI.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
