Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, optimize, and maintain robust bioinformatics pipelines for the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data.
- Analyze genomic data to identify genetic variations and patterns associated with emerging infectious diseases.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, researchers, and data scientists to interpret complex biological findings.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and reproducibility in all computational analyses and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of novel algorithms and software tools for genomic research.
- Prepare clear and concise scientific reports, visualizations, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in bioinformatics, genomics, and computational biology.
Kualifikasi
- Relevant Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, or a related Life Science field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
- Experience with genome analysis tools (e.g., BLAST, BWA, SAMtools) and workflow managers (e.g., Nextflow, Snakemake).
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and big data technologies is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex computational issues.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, research-intensive environment.
