Tanggung Jawab
- Design, develop, and implement firmware for Battery Management Systems (BMS) specifically tailored for vanadium flow battery systems.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and optimization of BMS firmware to ensure reliability, performance, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and researchers to integrate BMS components into complete energy storage systems.
- Analyze battery performance data and develop algorithms to enhance efficiency, extend battery lifespan, and prevent potential failures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in battery management systems and energy storage, incorporating relevant advancements into development work.
- Document technical specifications, development processes, and testing procedures for BMS firmware and related systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to battery management systems and their interaction with other system components.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master's or PhD is highly preferred.
- Strong programming skills in embedded systems development, particularly C/C++ and relevant firmware development tools.
- Proven experience with Battery Management Systems (BMS) design and implementation, preferably for flow batteries or similar large-scale energy storage systems.
- In-depth knowledge of battery technologies, electrochemistry, and power electronics, with specific expertise in vanadium flow batteries.
- Experience with microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in developing algorithms for battery monitoring, control, and optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams in a research environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to energy storage systems and battery safety.
