Baba Products is currently seeking a dedicated and technically proficient BO Chargeman (33kV) to join our engineering team in Selayang. In this critical role, you will be the backbone of our electrical infrastructure, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our high-voltage systems.
You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of 33kV electrical installations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical safety regulations, a proactive approach to preventive maintenance, and the technical acumen to minimize downtime. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of 33kV high-voltage electrical distribution systems.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and diagnostic testing to ensure 100% uptime of electrical equipment.
- Manage the switching operations for the high-voltage network in strict adherence to safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform swift troubleshooting and repair of electrical faults to minimize production disruption.
- Coordinate with internal engineering teams and external contractors for electrical installation and upgrading projects.
- Ensure full compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (Energy Commission) regulations and internal Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
- Maintain comprehensive records of electrical logs, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections.
- Respond promptly to emergency electrical failures and lead recovery efforts.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Certificate of Competency as a BO Chargeman (33kV) issued by the Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of switchgear, transformers, protection relays, and power distribution systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting single-line diagrams (SLD) and electrical schematics.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and experience in implementing LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Willingness to perform shift duties or be on standby for emergency call-outs.
