Weir Minerals is seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to join our dynamic team at the Batu Caves workshop. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a critical industrial environment where you'll ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of boiler systems. The role involves a rotating shift schedule (3 shifts), providing flexibility and work-life balance while maintaining 24/7 operational continuity. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and monitor boiler systems to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of boilers and auxiliary equipment
- Monitor pressure gauges, temperature readings, and fuel consumption levels
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Document operational logs, maintenance reports, and incident records
- Collaborate with engineering teams for system upgrades and efficiency improvements
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and emergency shutdowns
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM or equivalent technical certification
- Valid Boiler Operator License (Class 1/2) from DOSH Malaysia
- 3+ years of experience in industrial boiler operation
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, pressure vessels, and combustion processes
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and control systems
- Ability to work rotating shifts (day, evening, night)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer literacy for data logging and reporting
