The Role
As a Boiler Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our high-pressure boiler systems, including water tube and fire tube boilers. You will be responsible for maintaining the stable steam supply required for our processing, rendering, and sanitation departments. Your expertise in boiler operations will directly impact our production efficiency, operational safety, and the superior quality of our products.

Tanggung Jawab
- Safely and efficiently operate high-pressure boilers, auxiliary equipment, and water treatment systems to maintain a continuous steam supply.
- Monitor boiler performance, gauges, and control panels, adjusting controls to maintain specified temperature, pressure, and feedwater levels.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all Philippine safety regulations, environmental standards, and GAMA Foods' strict quality and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize plant efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logs of operations, fuel consumption, water chemistry tests, and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with the production and maintenance teams to schedule boiler shutdowns and startups to align with production demands.
Kualifikasi
- High school diploma or vocational graduate; a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is an advantage.
- Valid Boiler Operator License/Certification from a recognized Philippine authority (e.g., DOLE/Technical Safety Division).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a Boiler Operator, preferably in a food processing, poultry, or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of steam boiler systems, water treatment chemistry, and pressure vessel safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willing to work in a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays, and in a cold/hot production environment.
- Must be physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
