Tanggung Jawab
- Operate, monitor, and maintain high-pressure boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure system efficiency.
- Monitor water levels, steam pressure, and combustion efficiency, making necessary adjustments in real-time.
- Record operational data, including fuel consumption, chemical usage, and steam output in logbooks accurately.
- Execute emergency shutdown procedures in accordance with safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Conduct water treatment testing and chemical dosing to prevent scaling and corrosion.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical issues related to boiler systems.
- Ensure full compliance with JKKP/DOSH regulations and internal safety standards at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Possess a valid Grade 1 Steam Engineer/Boiler Operator Certificate issued by JKKP (DOSH).
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in boiler operation, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fuel combustion systems, and pressure vessel safety.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Physical capability to work in industrial settings, including heights and confined spaces if required.
- Proficiency in basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance techniques.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on a rotational shift basis.
