Tanggung Jawab
- Directly supervise the daily operations of boiler and steam generation equipment to ensure optimal performance, fuel efficiency, and uninterrupted steam supply for production lines.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive fuel management strategies, tracking consumption, coordinating procurement, and minimizing waste to control operational costs.
- Ensure strict and continuous compliance with all DENR, DOLE, and Local Government Unit (LGU) regulations regarding boiler emissions, wastewater treatment, noise control, and occupational safety.
- Lead, train, coach, and evaluate a team of boiler operators and technicians, handling shift scheduling, performance appraisals, and technical skills development programs.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance, predictive inspections, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on all boiler systems, including pumps, valves, controls, and feedwater treatment plants.
- Coordinate closely with the Production, Maintenance, and Quality Assurance departments to strategically align steam capacity with manufacturing demand, minimizing downtime and energy loss.
- Maintain accurate, detailed operational logs, incident reports, chemical/spare parts inventory, and strict permit-to-work systems to ensure full traceability and accountability.
- Enforce a zero-compromise safety culture by strictly implementing Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), emergency response drills, and regular risk assessments.
Kualifikasi
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical course. Licensed Engineer (ME/EE) is a strong advantage.
- Must hold a valid Boiler Engineer License or Certificate of Competency (COC) as recognized by DOLE and relevant Philippine industry bodies.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of solid hands-on experience in boiler plant operations within a high-volume manufacturing, food processing, or industrial facility.
- At least 2 years of proven supervisory or team lead experience, demonstrating strong people management, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- In-depth technical knowledge of various boiler types (water tube, fire tube, waste heat recovery), fuel systems (coal, biomass, diesel, natural gas), combustion optimization, and water treatment chemistry.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills to manage complex operational issues, emergency breakdowns, and system inefficiencies effectively.
- Willing to be assigned full-time and permanently in Balayan, Batangas. Must be amenable to working rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Filipino, with proficiency in MS Office applications and basic CMMS or SCADA systems.
