We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Boiler Technician to join our operations team in Boon Lay, West Region. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our industrial steam generation systems, specifically focusing on natural gas and biomass boilers. You will ensure that all plant machinery remains in peak condition through rigorous routine maintenance, timely inspections, and proactive troubleshooting. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance for natural gas and biomass boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Monitor boiler operations continuously, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
- Conduct start-up and shut-down procedures accurately, coordinating with control room operators.
- Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and combustion issues in boiler equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental standards and safety protocols during all maintenance activities.
- Document all maintenance activities, repair logs, and performance reports accurately in the system.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and manage minor capital projects.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in boiler operation and maintenance.
- Valid Certificates of Competency (COC) for boiler operation in Singapore.
- Strong knowledge of natural gas and biomass boiler systems, combustion principles, and auxiliary equipment.
- Familiarity with reading P&ID diagrams, process control systems, and basic PLC troubleshooting.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments, including heights and confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards safety and quality assurance.
