UEM Edgenta is currently seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Boilerman (Grade 2) to join our operations team in Kedah. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the boiler and its associated equipment to ensure the facility runs smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining high standards of safety and performance within our manufacturing environment.
As a Boilerman, you will monitor critical control panels, manage fuel and water levels, and conduct routine inspections to prevent equipment failure. Tanggung Jawab
- Operate and monitor steam and hot water boilers to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on boiler equipment and auxiliary systems.
- Monitor pressure, temperature, and water levels continuously to ensure safe operating conditions.
- Respond immediately to alarms and malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure personnel safety.
- Record daily operational logs, maintenance activities, and fuel consumption accurately.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local safety regulations, MSDOSHA standards, and company policies.
- Assist in cleaning, descaling, and servicing boiler components as required.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of SPM/STPM or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Certified Boiler Operator (SPVA/SO) or equivalent technical qualification.
- At least 2-3 years of proven experience as a Boilerman or in a similar operational role.
- Valid Malaysian Driver’s License is required.
- Physically fit and able to work in an industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency procedures.
