Huawei Technologies is seeking a seasoned and strategic BSS Project Cutover Manager to join our MRO AMS team in Kuala Lumpur. In this critical role, you will be the bridge between complex technical transformations and operational readiness. You will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end cutover planning, risk mitigation, and the flawless execution of Business Support Systems (BSS) migrations within large-scale telecommunications environments.
The successful candidate will demonstrate mastery in cutover governance, ensuring that system transitions minimize service disruption while maximizing operational efficiency. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and manage comprehensive, end-to-end cutover strategies, runbooks, and implementation plans for BSS transformation projects.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify dependencies, critical paths, and potential failure points throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Execute complex production cutovers, providing real-time command-center leadership to ensure business continuity.
- Coordinate with IT infrastructure, application development, and business operation teams to align transition timelines.
- Perform post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously optimize the transition management methodology.
- Develop and track KPIs related to cutover success, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks associated with system upgrades, data migration, and service integration.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in project management, specifically focusing on BSS/OSS transformation within the telecommunications sector.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-visibility production cutovers in complex IT environments.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum).
- Strong understanding of BSS architecture, CRM, Billing systems, and legacy-to-cloud migration patterns.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in high-pressure scenarios.
- Fluent in English with superior communication skills, capable of presenting technical strategies to executive leadership.
