Join Australian Intercultural School as a Buddhist Religion Teacher and inspire students through the profound wisdom and compassionate teachings of Buddhism. We seek an educator who can seamlessly blend spiritual principles with modern pedagogy to create transformative learning experiences. In this role, you'll develop age-appropriate curricula that explore Buddhist ethics, meditation practices, and cultural heritage while fostering an inclusive environment where students of diverse backgrounds can explore spiritual growth. You'll lead daily mindfulness sessions, organize religious ceremonies, and guide students in applying Buddhist values to everyday challenges. Tanggung Jawab
- Design and implement comprehensive Buddhist religious education curriculum aligned with school standards
- Facilitate daily meditation sessions, prayers, and religious ceremonies
- Integrate Buddhist ethics and mindfulness practices into classroom activities
- Assess student progress through examinations, projects, and spiritual development journals
- Collaborate with faculty to create intercultural religious programs
- Mentor students in applying Buddhist principles to personal and social contexts
- Organize cultural events celebrating Buddhist traditions and festivals
- Communicate student progress and spiritual development to parents and guardians
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or Education with Buddhist specialization
- Teaching certification or equivalent qualification in religious education
- Deep knowledge of Buddhist scriptures, traditions, and meditation practices
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience in religious or intercultural education
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse student populations
- Certification in mindfulness-based teaching practices preferred
- Experience developing intercultural religious curricula
