We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Budget and Management Specialist I to join our team in Metro Manila. In this role, you will play a critical part in the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance in the preparation of budgets, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring that financial management practices align with governmental and organizational standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong quantitative skills, and is passionate about public service or administrative excellence. You will work closely with department heads to forecast financial needs, analyze budgetary variances, and suggest improvements to management systems to optimize resource allocation.
Tanggung Jawab
- Assist in the preparation, consolidation, and review of annual budget proposals and financial plans.
- Monitor and analyze departmental budget utilization to ensure compliance with approved allotments.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and analytical summaries for management review.
- Conduct research and recommend improvements to existing management processes and operational workflows.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all budgetary adjustments and transfers.
- Provide technical support and guidance to personnel regarding budget execution policies and guidelines.
- Participate in performance management reviews to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of organizational programs.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in budget management, financial analysis, or general administrative operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across various departments.
- Ability to interpret complex financial regulations and apply them to operational practices.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and attention to detail.
