We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Building Engineer to join our team in Davao del Sur. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems. You will work closely with property management and tenants to ensure a comfortable and well-maintained environment.
As a Building Engineer at CBRE, you will perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs; respond to emergency breakdowns; and coordinate with external vendors when necessary. You will be expected to maintain detailed logs of all maintenance activities, monitor building automation systems, and support energy conservation initiatives. Your technical expertise and problem-solving abilities will be key to minimizing downtime and maximizing operational efficiency.

Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor, operate, and maintain all building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and elevators.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks and inspections as per established schedules.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform timely repairs to minimize disruption.
- Coordinate and oversee work performed by external contractors and vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history.
- Respond promptly to tenant service requests and emergency situations.
- Assist in energy management efforts by monitoring usage and recommending improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role.
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with tenants and team members.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call as needed.
