This role is integral to ensuring the comfort, safety, and satisfaction of residents while maintaining the highest standards of building performance.
As the Building Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety. You will lead a team of technicians, implement preventive maintenance programs, and coordinate with external contractors for major repairs. Your leadership will be key in minimizing downtime and maximizing the lifespan of building assets. You will also prepare budgets, maintain records, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Our ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) and has at least 3-5 years of experience in facility management. A licensed engineer is preferred. We are looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills.
We offer a competitive salary of PHP 30,000 to PHP 35,000 per month, plus benefits such as health insurance, paid leave, and opportunities for career growth. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of in-house technicians and external contractors.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues proactively.
- Prepare and manage the engineering budget, including cost estimates for repairs and capital improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations and tenant service requests, ensuring minimal disruption.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Licensed Engineer (e.g., Registered Mechanical Engineer, Registered Electrical Engineer) preferred
- At least 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance, facility management, or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems
- Proven supervisory and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
