Berhad is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Building & Maintenance Manager to join our team in the East Region. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our operational excellence, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
As our Building & Maintenance Manager, you will lead end-to-end facilities projects, ranging from routine upkeep to complex renovations and reinstatement works. You will act as the primary point of contact for external vendors, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with local regulatory requirements. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee day-to-day building operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Manage end-to-end renovation and reinstatement projects to ensure seamless operational continuity.
- Supervise and evaluate external contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to optimize facility usage and workplace environment.
- Ensure full compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Manage maintenance budgets, procurement of supplies, and tracking of facility expenses.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Building Services, Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in building maintenance or facility management.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of handling renovation and reinstatement works.
- Proficiency in vendor management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent knowledge of local building safety regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
