Tanggung Jawab
- Perform high-quality body repairs, panel beating, and structural straightening on accident-damaged buses and coaches.
- Utilize welding, cutting, grinding, and hydraulic equipment to restore vehicle chassis and bodywork.
- Prepare surfaces meticulously and apply automotive paint finishes to ensure a seamless, durable result.
- Diagnose mechanical and cosmetic damage accurately to plan effective repair strategies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the workshop team to meet production schedules and quality assurance standards.
- Document all repair work and maintain accurate records of parts and labor used.
Kualifikasi
- Relevant trade qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Body Repair.
- Proven experience specifically in bus or coach body repair and accident restoration.
- Strong knowledge of automotive paint systems, spray techniques, and rust prevention.
- Proficiency in using welding machines, straightening frames, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair specifications.
- Physically fit and able to work in a workshop setting with heavy lifting requirements.
- Valid driving license (Class 3/3B preferred depending on local regulations).
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
