Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operate public transport buses on designated routes in the Central Region.
- Maintain precise adherence to schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and keep the bus clean and serviceable.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with inquiries and special needs.
- Follow traffic regulations, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate with dispatch and control centre regarding any incidents, delays, or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate logs and records as required by regulatory bodies.
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- Valid Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence (or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience, preferably with public transport or large vehicles.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic rules and routes in Singapore.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to passenger safety.
