About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Business Controller to join our Asia Pacific region finance team. In this critical role, you will partner with business leaders to drive financial performance, enhance profitability, and support the company's strategic objectives across a dynamic and growing region. You will be a key member of the regional finance leadership team, providing valuable insights that shape the future direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Based in Singapore, you will take ownership of the full spectrum of management accounting and control. This includes leading the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, conducting in-depth variance analysis, and preparing comprehensive management reports for the regional leadership team. You will champion a strong control environment, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions in Asia Pacific.

Tanggung Jawab
- Partner with regional business leaders to drive strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the Asia Pacific region.
- Monitor and report on key financial and operational KPIs, providing insightful variance analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Manage and optimize working capital, ensuring robust cash flow management across the region.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS), tax regulations, and internal control policies.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate audit activities and liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies as needed.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA, CA, ACCA, or MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, business controlling, or a similar strategic finance role.
- Experience in the energy, oil & gas, or renewable energy sector is highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, and tax regulations in APAC countries, particularly Singapore.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across diverse cultures and geographies.
- Experience working on contract or temporary assignments and managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
