As a Business Development Executive (Motor Insurance), you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering accurate quotations for motor insurance products. Your primary focus will be on financial institutions and direct corporate clients, ensuring we offer competitive insurance solutions that meet their needs.

Key responsibilities include formulating business development plans, preparing quotations, managing the sales pipeline, and achieving targets. You will work closely with internal teams such as underwriting and product development to customize offerings for key accounts. The ideal candidate possesses strong sales acumen, in-depth knowledge of motor insurance, and a proactive approach to client service.

Tanggung Jawab

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to expand market share in the motor insurance segment
  • Prepare and present accurate and competitive quotations for motor insurance policies to financial institutions and corporate clients
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive customer retention and satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, and networking events
  • Collaborate with underwriting and product teams to tailor insurance offerings that meet client needs
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance KPIs
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management

Kualifikasi

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business development or sales within the insurance industry, with a focus on motor insurance
  • Strong knowledge of motor insurance products, regulations, and quotation processes
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing client portfolios
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Experience working with financial institutions is an added advantage
