We are currently expanding our operations in Kulim, Kedah, and are looking for a skilled Buyer to join our dedicated supply chain team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to manage critical procurement activities that drive our production capabilities.
As a Buyer at Celestica, you will be responsible for the strategic procurement of parts and supplies required for our new products, existing product lines, and general non-production needs. You will initiate purchases based on production schedules and material requirements planning. Your role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure a seamless flow of materials, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency. You will also be responsible for negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effective sourcing strategies are implemented.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for manufacturing parts and non-production supplies.
- Initiate and execute purchase orders (POs) for new product launches and existing inventory replenishment.
- Coordinate closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
- Resolve supply chain discrepancies and delays to minimize production downtime.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist in the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and ERP systems.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP or similar ERP software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
